Tennessee State Law

All state laws in Tennessee are contained in the 71 Titles in the Tennessee Code, Annotated. Election laws are contained in Title 2.

Each department of state government that is effected by these laws writes rules and regulations they use to enforce the laws under their jurisdiction. Most election rules and regulations are contained in section 1360

To fully understand the effects of Tennessee Law you need to review both the laws pasted by the legislature as well as the rules & regulations written by the departments used to enforce the laws.
